Can I still be in relation to psychedelics? \nA founding Minister and is now the full-time Executive Minister for the Congregation for Sacred Practices Paul Ryder\, PhD\, is a has practiced medicine guiding for the last decade. He is the lead faculty member for the Congregation*s seminary including their four year Training for Ministers in San Francisco\, Washington\, DC\, and Boulder. He also offers medicine sacraments for Congregational members. \nDr. Ryder holds degrees from Harvard (AB physics)\, Rutgers (MS Developmental and Social Psychology) and Pacifica Graduate Institute (MA and PhD Mythology and Depth Psychology). Before embarking on a healing practice he worked both in corporate settings (Andersen Consulting\, Xerox Learning Systems) and universities (Rutgers University\, University of San Francisco\, San Francisco State University). He will speak about psychedelics beyond their medicalization and give some answers to some questions that many of us have been asking. What if I*m not sick? Can I still be in relation to psychedelics? \nA founding Minister and is now the full-time Executive Minister for the Congregation for Sacred Practices Paul Ryder\, PhD\, is a has practiced medicine guiding for the last decade. He is the lead faculty member for the Congregation*s seminary including their four year Training for Ministers in San Francisco\, Washington\, DC\, and Boulder. He also offers medicine sacraments for Congregational members. \nDr. Ryder holds degrees from Harvard (AB physics)\, Rutgers (MS Developmental and Social Psychology) and Pacifica Graduate Institute (MA and PhD Mythology and Depth Psychology). Before embarking on a healing practice he worked both in corporate settings (Andersen Consulting\, Xerox Learning Systems) and universities (Rutgers University\, University of San Francisco\, San Francisco State University). His approach to deep pattern recognition\, principle discovery\, learning design\, and strategy development has been employed by a wide range of clients\, for the federal government (DoD\, FBI\, CIA\, NSA) to New Economy icons such as Tom Peters and Fast Company. Compassion practice is a great way to work with empathy fatigue\, and to cultivate a courageous heart. \nPema Lodro lived at Padma Samye Ling studying under Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche for eleven years. They are a monk who has been a speaker on campuses talking about compassion\, cultivating a meaningful life\, Queer Faith\, and was a Keynote Speaker for University of Rhode Island*s Transgender Awareness week.
