Event Description?

We wanted to thank you for a semester of thoughtful work, and?help prepare you for success for next semesters?accommodations. To?keep you?from unknowingly increasing your workload?or inadvertently making your course inaccessible, the accessibility office invites?you to attend this informational?with an open Q&A session at the end.?This will be a great opportunity?to ask any questions you may have had from last semester and prepare yourself for implementing accommodations in the coming semester.

The?information covered can help minimize commonly overlooked pain points for you and your students by teaching you how?to set up your course accessibly.?

This informational supports?your?role in providing accommodations?by covering:?our new Accommodate process, updates to our SharePoint, how to make course content accessible, accommodation stipulations for intensives/retreats, maintaining?academic rigor in alternative assessments of knowledge, and concerns with applying non-approved accommodations?(agenda outline included below).??

Naropa Campuses Closed on Friday, March 15, 2024

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Naropa campuses will be closed Friday, March 15, 2024.? All classes that require a physical presence on campus will be canceled.?All?online and?low-residency programs are to meet as scheduled.

Based on the current weather forecast, the?Healing with the Ancestors Talk & Breeze of Simplicity program scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday will be held as planned.

Staff that do not work remotely or are scheduled to work on campus, can work remotely. Staff that routinely work remotely are expected to continue to do so.

As a reminder, notifications will be sent by e-mail and the LiveSafe app.??
