Alumnx Reunion Volunteers Needed

Alumnx Reunion Volunteers are essential leaders in the reunion planning process. They will plan a program or affinity reunion that will be an impactful, memorable experience years to come. Naropa University will provide space and event support on campus for the reunion, as well as a small budget to cover refreshments and snacks. Volunteers need to be alumnx (graduated from or attended Naropa), and they can be local to the Front Range or remote, so long as they are able to attend the reunion in person.?As an Alumnx Reunion Volunteer, you will:
  • Meet with Kelly Watt, Senior Director of Admissions & Alumnx Relations, to discuss your ideas and involvement in the day.
  • Collaborate with other Alumnx Reunion Volunteers so that you have support in your planning.
  • Make every effort to participate in planning meetings by phone or video.
  • Contact classmates to promote reunion attendance; Naropa will provide contacts lists for email and phone.
  • Notify Alumnx Relations of updated classmate contact information.
  • Attend the Alumnx Reunion Weekend in person at Naropa University!
?
The Alumnx Reunion Volunteer role will primarily lead the planning and logistics of a program/department (eg. Jack Kerouac School; Interdisciplinary Studies; Somatic Counseling) or affinity group (e.g. BIPOC; International Students; SUN) reunion.?These include:
  • Identify potential reunion activities and format (e.g. panel discussion; contemplative nature walk; experiential offering).
  • If your reunion has a current Naropa connection (e.g. BA Psychology; Students of Color & Allies), collaborate with current faculty/student leaders around reunion programming.
  • Determine a reunion location, along with any event support needed.
  • Propose/issue special faculty invitations.
?
We can’t do this without you! If you would like to be an Alumnx Reunion Volunteer, please sign up below and we will be in touch shortly. Questions? Contact?Kelly Watt.
